Cloud Build Engineer / 6 months / Competitive Rates / London

Due to the nature of this project, you must be SC Clearable & be AWS Certified!

Role:

This Cloud Build Engineer contract is an excellent opportunity for you to join an internationally recognised finance company which a structured project pipeline.

You would get to work on their cloud migration programme, coming in near the start of the project and working across the full project lifecycle.

You would collaborate with fellow engineers, programme managers and testers to ensure the infrastructure delivery is of the highest professional standard.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Delivering pre-planned build objectives
  • Preparing the services for company-wide deployment
  • Developing automation scripts for network components
  • Designing and developing workflow
  • Building complete cloud-based solutions
  • Mentoring junior team members

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • An AWS Certification at Associate or Professional Level
  • Be SC Clearable or hold current security clearance
  • A track record of working with AWS
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Redhat preferred)
  • Good Scripting experience
  • A working knowledge of Continuous Delivery models
  • An interest in network security
