Senior Python Developer / Solihull / £60,000 - £70,000

Commutable From: Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Redditch, Sutton Coldfield

Role:

I’m currently working on behalf of a leading software house in Solihull who are looking for an experienced Python Developer with web capabilities or a full stack developer with python.

Responsibilities: 

You will be actively involved in all aspects of our project development; from integrating new data sources, to continually improving the efficiency and accuracy of our backend systems, to improving our deployment processes. Ideally you'd also be comfortable dabbling in Java technologies.

For this you'll get to work with the best, in a respectful and professional environment of continuous improvement. You'll choose the right tools for the job, with good pay and a fast paced environment. 

To join us you'd ideally have exceptionally strong Python web/application development skills, but someone with good Python and Java experience will also be considered.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience with Python development
  • Worked with either the Django or Spark frameworks
  • Good knowledge of Java 7 or newer
  • Have mentored Junior Developers in the past
  • Worked in an Agile environment
  • Exposure to web technologies
  • A track record of developing software applications
